IT Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible in the line Management of other IT Technicians within the organization.

2. Provide general Technical support related to IT matters, but not limited to:

            • Network and Applications Management

            • Computer Systems Management

            • Monitoring the condition of Network Resources and reporting any damage or problems to the Management.

            • Ensuring systems backup procedures are followed regularly.

            • Ensuring latest anti-virus is running successfully.

            • Ensuring the Smooth Operation of the Wireless Network.

            • Ensuring the smooth running of club's applications.

3. Maintaining, installing and supporting the use of Computer equipment and peripherals for Administrative use within the organization.

4. Monitor and keep a log of all breakdowns and alterations to the  organization’s systems.

5. Advise on the technical aspects of the  organization’s IT development and Hardware / Software purchases.

6. Checking the Operations of the  organization’s IT systems and reporting any equipment is in need of repair or upgrade.

7. Maintain an accurate record of Software licenses and report infringement to the Management.

8. Maintain a detailed stock record of  organization’s IT Hardware and Peripherals.

9. Liaise with IT equipment suppliers and vendors in the event of technical issues which require IT specialist support.

10. Provide Security to  organization’s logical and physical IT infrastructure.


Qualifications Required

1. Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

2. Strong Technical Skills in Network Administration, System Administration, Database Management, Hardware & software trouble shooting.

3. Experience required: Minimum

5. 5 years experience in similar role.

4. Certifications will be beneficial.

5. Proven experience in Supervisor role.

2. Should have a high level of initiative.

3. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
