Stewarding Supervisor

The Stewarding Supervisor will ensure a superior standard for all flatware, tableware and kitchen equipment in support of our Culinary and Banquet teams

Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow associates
Supervise and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment
Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried for warranty
Ensure all kitchen equipment is in working order, report any items in need of repair and create an engineering request
Follow all hotel and departmental policies, procedures and service standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all associates
Ensure Stewarding area is clean at all times i.e. tables, walls, machines etc.
Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate amount of staff for business levels and functions
Manage duties under supervisor portfolio (separate document)

Grade 12 or equivalent
Previous hotel experience an asset
1-2 years of supervisory experience
May require significant walking/standing
May involve sitting with pushing and pulling of arm and or leg controls
