To performs all general masonry work involved in the maintenance which is preventative and corrective of block, stone, and brick structures; maintain and repairs concrete structures; works with various machine and hand tools common to the masonry trade.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Inspects and performs maintenance tasks which can be preventive and corrective to ensure all the ceilings, walls, concrete structure, flooring Are well maintained and to ensure required guest satisfaction.
Maintains detailed records for masonry related defects and plan for its repair.
Take proactive measures on the issue related to masonry task to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Maintains the inventory required for masonry works which is preventive and corrective.
Snagging and de-snagging.
Supporting other department team member in case something is needed related to masonry works.
Ensures the application and the execution of a good preventive maintenance program for related equipment and machineries.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Carry out all tiles grouting and blocking and other assigned civil works duties within the complex.
Carry out preventive maintenance schedules for masonry jobs as directed by Superiors.
Repair, maintain and alter buildings, retaining walls and other brick or stone edifices.
Mix mortar, lay bricks and stones or concrete sidewalks and make and repair steps.
Patch and replace brick or stonework.
Install and repair tile floors or walls.
Read blueprints and plaster ceilings or walls.
Estimate masonry jobs and carry out carpentry work incidental to masonry work.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Follow hazardous Material management program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals etc. using material safety data sheets.
Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to Shift in charge.
Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
Emergencies – To be available for any emergencies and act in a professional manner to protect our Guests, Staffs and preserve the Hotel Property and its system. Follow Hotel Emergency plan.
To complete the personal daily job record, time book accurately, and keep ready for inspection.
Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Qualification, Experience, and Skills
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position.
Same field as water testing technician. with minimum 5 years of experience.
