Linen Attendant

The Linen Attendant is responsible for assuring an adequate quantity of linen is maintained throughout the hospital by restocking and delivering clean linen to all parts of the hospital.

Unloads delivery of clean linen onto shelves in clean linen room
Matches count of items received to items sent on invoice
Restocks and delivers clean linen to all parts of the hospital
Makes out invoice to assure charges are correct
Must be able to call linen service to make any corrections if needed
Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with the Linen Company Representatives as well as Nursing Staff and other Department Directors
Responsible for Lost and Found
May also be trained for Environmentalist coverage

High School or equivalent or a 1-year diploma in hotel management.
