Hotel/ Resident Manager

To achieve the organizations overall strategic goals and profitability requirements as determined by the strategic plans. To oversee hotel operations in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans. Direct and inspire the high performance of hotel teams continuously evaluating and maintaining high service quality and productive processes and workflow.

Oversee all aspects of the hotel operations including training, scheduling, daily duties, etc.
Tour the operating departments daily, making adjustments as needed via department heads.
Conduct weekly staff meetings, including weekly training sessions presented by managers and self, using the steps to effective training according to Hotel standards, and the review of previous and future sales and operations efforts.
Meet all financial review dates and corporate directed programs in a timely fashion.
Assist in creating a positive team-oriented environment which focuses on the guest, through employee development and motivation.
Inspect rooms regularly (weekly at a minimum) with Rooms Operations Managers.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Degree in hospitality/tourism preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Resident Manager/Hotel Manager/Assistant General Manager/Director of Operations or a similar role required.
Previous leadership experience in a luxury and/or lifestyle hospitality brand preferred.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Team work and customer service orientation.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize multiple departmental functions to meet deadlines.
